MAGA loves China

The story is not “MAGA loves China.” That’s too easy. The story is worse: America’s loudest patriots are doing unpaid strategic labor for Beijing. They turn U.S. power into spectacle, fracture alliances, and call the wreckage strength.

Beijing doesn’t need a secret plan when Washington keeps self-owning in public. A distracted U.S., a nervous Europe, a NATO family fight, another Middle East fire: that is not “America First.” That is strategic depreciation with flags.

Iran doesn’t have to beat America. It has to make America reactive: oil panic, missile politics, humiliation loops, cable-news rage. MAGA keeps mistaking escalation for strategy. Tehran throws the hook; they proudly swallow the boat.

Russia is no longer the main event. Dangerous, yes. Dominant, no. After years of war, it still hasn’t broken Ukraine. The real contest is China: factories, ships, batteries, rare earths, chips, ports, standards and patience.

Now look at MAGA’s target list: universities, scientists, courts, law firms, civil servants, journalists, allies, immigrants. That is not “draining the swamp.” That is stripping copper wire out of the machine that made America hard to beat.

China builds leverage while MAGA performs grievance. Beijing studies supply chains; MAGA studies enemies. Beijing scales industry; MAGA scales resentment. Beijing wants a U.S. that trusts nobody, plans nothing and mistakes cruelty for competence.

The punchline: MAGA doesn’t need to be pro-China to serve China’s interests. It just has to keep making America poorer in allies, weaker in institutions, dumber in strategy and louder in denial. Beijing didn’t hack them. It merely watched them volunteer.
